She Builds The Future
Who are we?
We are a youth-led organization dedicated to making STEM education accessible to girls and women of all ages by building a free, comprehensive online resource hub. Beyond our online presence, we host in-person events and activities, offer free lessons and webinars and create opportunities that spread education, kindness, and empowerment to inspire the next generation of female scientists, engineers, and innovators.
Our Story
"In the winter of 2024, I was lucky to attend the Women in STEM and Technology program at Boston College. The program was led by passionate undergraduate students, and it opened my eyes to different fields in STEM and helped me realize that this was truly what I wanted to pursue. As a girl who often doubts herself and lacks confidence, this experience was a turning point for me. It gave me clarity, guidance, and, most importantly, a sense of belonging. That is why I founded She Builds the Future. I want every girl to feel confident, capable, and excited about the future she can build."

Yixuan Li
Hi! I’m Yixuan Li, the co-founder of She Builds the Future. For too long, outdated stereotypes have limited girls' belief in their own potential, especially in science and math. But the truth is: girls are brilliant and they deserve every opportunity boys get. With She Builds the Future, I want to help girls push past those boundaries. Whether through sharing resources, hosting workshops, or creating a strong network of peers, my goal is to remind every girl that her concerns matter, her dreams are valid, and she always has the power to shape her own story.

Tejaswini Pitchuka
I’m Teju, co-founder of She Builds the Future and the leader of She Inspires. My work empowers women and helps young girls envision themselves as engineers, scientists, and leaders. My journey has shown me the importance of representation, mentorship, and community—values I bring to every initiative. At She Builds the Future, I create programs that spark curiosity and build confidence. Through She Inspires, I amplify the stories of women in STEM and foster meaningful connections. I believe every girl deserves to know her potential is limitless, and I’m committed to building that future.
Fengyiming Jia
Hi, I'm Phoebe Jia, the co-founder and the website designer of She Builds The Future, also leading the Department of Psychology and the Department of Neuroscience. I'm passionate about cognitive and behavioural neuroscience, psychology, and building a better community. By starting She Builds The Future, I wish more and more women could be motivated by what we are doing here. By sharing knowledge and creating opportunities, we hope you can find more possibilities in your future.
